About me

I graduated from the Faculty of Physiotherapy at the University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw, Poland. I finished my masters degree in 2010 and immediately started working with patients in the Neurological Rehabilitation Ward in the Marciniak Hospital in Wroclaw. At this time I also worked in a private physiotherapy office. Right now I offer access to the client’s/patient’s home in Wroclaw and the area. I work mainly with neurological patients (after strokes, after craniocerebral trauma and brain operations, after spinal cord injuries and with MS multiple sclerosis) and with orthopedic patients (after musculoskeletal injuries and surgery, e.g. after endoprosthesis implantation).

How can I help you?

In my work I use modern physiotherapy methods, and the main goal of rehabilitation is to return the neurological patient to the greatest possible independence (we use the “plasticity” of the nervous system), and the orthopedic patient to full fitness.

NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION

Neurological rehabilitation consists in bringing the patient suffering from neurological trauma to full fitness or full recovery. Rehabilitation allows patients to regain the ability to perform work or re-active participation in social life and independence in everyday life. Often, the desired effect of
neurological rehabilitation will be adapting the patient to perform daily activities such as dressing, walking up the stairs, and free communication with loved ones. An important factor in neurological rehabilitation is the timing and repeatability of stimuli. Treatment brings the best results when it is started immediately after an injury or neurological incident (such as stroke) or at a very early stage of a disease that is burdening the nervous system. Neurological rehabilitation is necessary in the event of stroke, SM multiple sclerosis, craniocerebral trauma, spinal cord injuries and after brain surgeries. The help of a neuro speech therapist or a neuropsychologist with whom I work is often required.

ORTHOPEDIC REHABILITATION

Orthopedic rehabilitation aims to return to full fitness after trauma to the musculoskeletal system (e.g. joint sprain, bone fracture, and soft tissue injuries). Therapy should be started as early as possible, and the selection of methods and intensity is selected individually. Rehabilitation involves the appropriate strengthening of weakened parts of the body, removal of post-traumatic and postoperative edema, balance training and improvement of deep sensation, learning to load the limb and correct movement patterns. It is addressed to people of all ages.

MASSAGE

I deal with therapeutic and relaxing massage. The massage is carried out on a portable professional massage table.

KINESIOTAPING

Dynamic plastering or commonly called taping is a therapeutic method in which we apply a suitable technique with elastic plasters to select a place on the body undergoing therapy. It is a quick way to relieve pain or relieve selected parts of the body. Brings excellent results in anti-edema therapy. Combined with other treatments, it maintains their effect.

PRICE LIST

In the case of long-term cooperation, the cost of rehabilitation can be adjusted to the individual needs of the patient.
